The Black Moon is a lesser known phase. It is similar to the Blue moon which is the second full moon in one lunar calendar month. The Black Moon is the second new/dark moon in a lunar calendar month. This phase is very good for using deep introspective magick and working on big life changes. This only occurs about every 3 years so it is more rare than the Blue moon. Out next Black moon will be on July 30th 2011.
