Banishing bad energies and things that go bump in the night

So lately in the groups i'm a part of and in emails i get I've seen A LOT of requests for help with getting rid of baddies for lack of a better term right now (it's midnight and I've drank my chamomile tea so bare with me:P:)

So here's something I wrote up when we were living in Florida and were having some issues with a particular spirit that liked to scare the crap out of my daughter every night to the point she would huddle in the middle of her room because apparently it would block the door and not let her pass through.

Anyway very simple, we saged the house, bricked the doorways (using powdered brick and salt along windows and doorways to keep unwanted spirits and negativity out.)

Banishing ghosts and things that go bump in the night

Do you think you have a ghost or a bad energy hanging around? If possible work this spell on a waning moon phase to tie into the banishing energies of the moon. Alternativly, try a satury to remove the problem and to pull in the closing energies of the week.

take two brstles from your ritual or household broom and burn them inside of a cauldron or old pot.  Next sprinkle all of the inside corners of the house with salt blessed water and incense smoke. go to the corner of the house and announce:

In the name of the lady and by the power of a witch's art, 

all spells an energies not in harmony with me must now depart.

Finally take the blessed water and draw small stars on every door window and mirror (this seals the house so nothing else liek sour vibes or negativity can get in)

once the water dries, the stars will be invisible but the magick will remain...
