Spirit Board

I love these but i will never ever never ever never ever call them ouiji boards. I had one made for me many years ago out of the hard canvas stuff but in one of my moves across country it dissapeared, i can only hope it made it into the hands of someone who needed it. I got bored Friday and made another one, This one will probably be for sale however till i make the one that calls to me like no other. If it's not screaming my name for me to use it i wont or i wont buy items either. I really feel that the tool in question has to be for you...and when i think for some reason i conjure the image of harry potter year one in my head where the wand is picking him and he goes through all the different one...:P im such a nerd:P anyway here it is:...

I really love the idea of multi purpose boards, here u can use the spirit part with the letters and number, ive also placed on it a pentacle where this whole board can be set upright at the back of an alter, the triquetra cuz damn it i felt like it and the pendulum yes and no cross for scrying simple questions. anyway will be up on etsy in a few i think or maybe not might keep it for myself.

Will also take custom orders on wood work for just about anything from name plaques to more spirit boards and hopefully can do some neato boxes, i love the spoons i did on wednesday and have had alot of great feedback on them.

i made this for my mom who is sick she got celluitis (skin infection) after hitting her shin on a futon 

this is for my grandmother house, her fav flower is a carnation

and this was for my husband, he loves wolves, i actually went and filled it in and it looks better.

I know ive been a tad bit quiet here the past few weeks. Been interesting few and very very busy. Anyway I Just had to share this particular event that happened.

Friday night My bat shit crazy mother found 4 baby owls that had gotten out of their tree somehow. It was a pretty cold night and when i say baby owls i mean baby to the point they didnt have feathers just the fluffy down. So we put a blanket in a box and put the babies in the box. I actually went and sat on our roof with the babies hoping mama would swoop and come get them but she wanted nothing to do with them for some reason. So sadly 2 of the babies didnt make it through the night, one had a broken wing the other one we think hit its head on the way down but 2 of them did live. So we began calling every place we could think of short of animal control because our animal control is nothing more than a power hungry animal killer here and i hate them (well at least the old one was idk if they are still around of if there is a new one now but none the less). So after caring for the babies over the weekend I finally got a call Monday morning from F.A.C.T., which is a local place that is run by the university here, well in the city but close enough:P They sent someone over to get the babies where they will be cared for checked out raised among their own kind and if they are able to be, re-released back into nature and if not they will reside in their GIANT aviary. anyway if u wanna check out their website here is it

Happy Vernal Equinox

Happy Vernal Equinox everyone, not feeling to do today and waaaaayyy too much for me to do, on top of taking care of my injured kitty... will try and post a recipe tomorrow, i know i know ya'll need em today but these are great anytime:P

Ganesha

Okay so here is a few things i learned over this last week.

Ganesha - Remover of obstacles - Ganesha got his elephant head a result of his head being removed and his mother so grief stricken that she ordered her husband to find him another head. The first they came upon happened to be an elephant.

Okay so Put a statue, or in my case for the moment a drawing I did of him up and an offering bowl and since he is an infant god, pretty much eb very straight forward with what you want when asking. Offer 9 coins to the bowl and after the bowl has been filled (usually after several wishes/demands ( i say both because you all know as well as I do if you dont just tell/demand a child they usually dont do anything and it was also the word used in the workshop so:P) Take the coins to a cross roads (and mind you she said she used quarters but im assuming any shiney coin will do) and start tossing them at the cross roads. Was said you can even do this at a stop sign while in your car if you are a super busy modern pagan:P

So as people pick the money up and spend it your fortune, wealth and success will start coming in back to you.
